Overview
AODA
As part of our ongoing commitment to digital accessibility, Apexa will be dedicating upcoming sprint cycles to addressing accessibility improvements across our platform.
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) mandates that organizations meet specific standards to ensure digital spaces are accessible to people with disabilities. In alignment with these requirements, we are implementing enhancements to bring the Apexa platform into compliance with the latest WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.
These updates will focus on resolving identified accessibility violations and improving the overall user experience for all individuals, regardless of ability.
Licence Lookup Extension
The licence lookup functionality has been enhanced to support retrieval of licence records for additional provinces. These improvements increase data accuracy, reduce manual entry for advisors, and ensure that broker profiles remain up to date. All licences added via lookup will continue to be monitored daily by the licence job.
Newly Supported:
Manitoba – Individual & Corporation Licences
British Columbia- Individual & Corporation Licences
A new licence lookup integration was implemented following an unannounced change to the BC provincial portal
Coming Soon:
Ontario – Individual & Corporation Licences
New Brunswick – Individual & Corporation Licences
