Setting Up Your Corporate Profile
The first time your corporation is invited to join APEXA, you will need to set up the corporate profile on the platform. The system will guide you through a configuration wizard. As you configure your corporation's profile, you will only be able to proceed to the next step once all the required fields on the page have been filled in.
There are two ways Corporations can be invited to join APEXA.
- A Corporate-only invite - which will require the setup of only the Corporation's profile.
- A Single Advisor Corporation - defined as an independent advisor who is running their business through their own company. This type of invite will require you to setup both an Advisor profile and a Corporate profile. Instructions on setting up your Advisor profile can be found in the Advisor User Manual.
Information and links below pertain to setting up a Corporate profile. The system will walk you through a setup wizard. As you proceed through profile set-up, you'll only be able to move on to the next step once all the mandatory fields on the page have been filled in.
If your corporation has an existing contract with a Carrier through the party who invited you to APEXA, you will be required to perform an authentication step called Confirm Your Corporate Selling Code before you begin the profile setup.
The corporate profile setup consists of following 6 steps:
- Corporate Details
- Corporate Address(es)
- Corporate Phone Number(s)
- Corporate E&O Coverage(s)
- Corporate Licence(s)
- Shareholders
You'll be able to track your setup through a progress bar at the top of the screen, that uses icons to represent each step. Each icon will be grey until you get there - then turn blue as you complete that step. You can back-track to any previous step that has already been completed (icon is blue) by simply clicking on the associated icon.
The final screen of the profile wizard will display all contracts embedded in the invitation you received. If you have received additional invitations, those contracts will not be listed here. If you are new to the industry, you will not see any contracts.
Additional information can be added to the Corporate profile, which can be found under the Managing Your Corporate Profile section.
