Confirm Your Corporate Selling Code
If you are new to the party that invited you and do not have any existing carrier contracts with them, you will not be asked to confirm a selling code. When you login, you will not see this screen, and instead will be automatically directed to step 1 of the wizard.
When an MGA or Carrier send your company an APEXA invitation, the invitation usually has any existing carrier contracts your corporation has with them embedded into the invite. Since these existing contracts will be imported into your corporate profile once setup is complete, you will be asked to confirm ONE of the associated selling codes. This verifies that the correct invitation has been sent to the proper Corporation.
- Select a Carrier from the drop-down (Carriers listed will only be those associated with the party that sent you the invitation).
- Enter a Selling Code you have been provided for that Carrier - this should be a selling code specifically for your Corporation (not you as an advisor).
- Click Submit.
- If you entered a correct selling code, you will proceed to the next step of the setup.
What happens if the wrong selling code is entered?
- If you submit an incorrect selling code, you will be notified and given 2 additional attempts.
- If you enter an incorrect code 3 times, you will be locked out of the system for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, you may login again and repeat this step.
